Canton-i @ 1 Utama, Bandar Utama PJ

This was  one of the tracks that I listened to on the way back from Java. That’s what I do when I have time to kill at the airport. I speed up the world by blast the music on my iPOD.

Like a rhythm unbroken
Like drums in the night
Like sweet soul music
Like sunlight
I need your love

Like coming home
And you don’t know where you’ve been
Like black coffee
Like nicotine
I need your love (I need your love)
I need your love (I need your love)
I need your love (I need your love)

When the night has no end
And the day yet to begin
As the room spins around
I need your love
I need your love

Like a Phoenix rising needs a holy tree
Like the sweet revenge of a bitter enemy
I need your love

Like the hot needs the sun
Like honey on her tongue
Like the muzzle of a gun
Like oxygen
I need your love (I need your love)
I need your love (I need your love)
I need your love (I need your love)

When the night has no end
And the day yet to begin
As the room spins around
I need your love

I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love

Pork Intestine Congee – RM12.80

Upon arriving back in KL from Java, I had this pain in the deep recesses of  of my stomach.. a hankering that would not be placated.. a yearning so deep, no amount of cajoling could distract.. Until I had this. I really missed my “Chee Chap Chok” (Pork intestine congee)- Heavy on the lard and extra deep fried intestine please. I need your love.

Special Pork Noodles – RM12.80

It didn’t help that on the flight back I keep getting visions of springy, al dente noodles, soaked in special sauces and fat plump, porky juicy wantans waiting to explode in my mouth. It was like a wet-dream that would not end until .. well, you know how wet-dreams conclude I suppose.

Here I am with my colleague at lunch. Neither of us looks up as we devour our meal.

Sea Coconut & Lychee Drink – RM9.00

Just when you think things cannot get better, they bring in our favourite dessert.

DSC02736Orgasmic Savory Dumpling with salted yolk lava center (lau sar bao) – RM6.00

This savory dumpling dessert is what wet-dreams are made out of. Crazy lava like, salted egg yolk center spills forth igniting our desire for more..

Like thunder needs rain
Like a preacher needs pain
Like tongues of flame
Like a sheet stained
I need your love
I need your love

Like a needle needs a vein
Like someone to blame
Like a thought unchained
Like a runaway train
I need your love

I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love
I need your love

Like faith needs a doubt
Like a freeway out
I need your love

Like powder needs a spark
Like lies need the dark
I need your love

She eats her dessert dumpling with a spoon.

DSC02738See.. so dainty!

DSC02739In the end, even the demure give in to their carnal side.

It’s all hands and mouth from here on.

  4. ladyironchef says:

when i went to KL that time, we tried dragon-I. I know both of them are sister restaurants but is there any difference in the food? We have Canton-i in Singapore now too! haha

    • cumi&ciki says:

i’ve tried both. there are similarities and differences. I like canton-i for the chinese style ‘fastfood’ so to speak, e.g. for the wantan mee noodles and the pork porridge. I like dragon-i for the more long drawn chinese sit down meals, such as individual chinese stir fry dishes to be eaten with rice, for the promotions (e.g. hairycrab) and also the xlb!

  5. thebaDderMan says:
